FOUNDATIONS IN Sports Tech

Foundations In Sports Tech (FST) course is an industry program that covers nine (9) modules. Its primary focus is to provide students with a comprehensive knowledge of sports technology, sports digital, and the sports innovation landscape.

  • Level 1 – Foundations In Sports Tech (FST)

  • • This industry CPD-accredited (currently undergoing accreditation) course covers nine (9) modules focused on developing a comprehensive knowledge of sports technology, sports digital and sports innovation landscape.

    • Acquire an understanding of 150+ key industry concepts, trends and technologies – focused on high performance sports, business of sports, stadiums and venues, fan engagement, active living and participation, Esports and digital sports and future of sports trends.

    • Explore best practice examples and case studies focused on the intersection of data, digital and technology within sports, entertainment, gaming, business and health.

    • Level 1 is suitable for beginner, intermediate and advanced level professionals.

    • Candidates benefit from an effective, top-to-bottom course developed by industry experts.

    • This course is a pre-requisite to becoming a fully certified Sports Technology practitioner – including Level 2 (Advanced Sports Technology) and Level 3 (Master of Sports Technology) – that will become available in 2024 worldwide. The new courses will be focused on real-world problem-solving, critical thinking and case study-based learning and more technical concepts for senior leaders.

  • $695AUD. Payment is accepted via the Sports Tech College website.

  • No prior knowledge is required for this Level 1 Foundations course.

  • • 60 minute (60 question) exam must be completed within 2 weeks of online course completion.

    • 60% pass rate is required to receive a certificate of completion of the Level 1 Foundations course.
